Deep Breath: Bar Results This Friday

We don’t have to tell you Law Launch Project folks that the bar results list will be out Friday — this week must be filled with lots of hand-wringing for you, but you’ll know soon. The Board of Law Examiners will release the pass list and the Tennessee Bar Association will have it on our site ASAP. In years’ past it’s been around noon, but we won’t know for sure until we get it. After you pass (positive thinking, please!), you’ll be invited to a lovely event at the TBA in conjunction with the Supreme Court Swearing-in Ceremony.  Look for the results at tba.org.

We Won! We Won!

The Tennessee Bar Journal won a Luminary Award from the National Association of Bar Executives last week for The Law Launch Project. This is kind of a big deal and we are proud of it. The award is in the category of Special Publications.

One of the judges said “Awesome idea and execution! I love the comprehensive approach: The project spans print, digital and social media, and features law students of all ages and backgrounds. In this way, the project truly fills the stated objective of providing a snapshot … of the future of the legal profession.”

This is bound to be a good omen for our 15 participants, who will learn this Friday if they have passed the bar exam. I’m betting YES THEY WILL.
