Perseverance

My brain really has been either asleep or nonfunctioning the past couple of months. I’m not sure if it is the excitement of graduation (94 days left), the anticipation of when my little princess gets to come home with me for the first time (111 days left), or a combination of both. But I do know this, regardless of my semi-defunct brain, I am very happy and blessed to have gotten a job offer right around Christmas that I gladly and thankfully accepted. I had been praying about how I would be able to provide and move forward and God blessed me with the means to do so. I just try to spend each day staying focused and motivated to finish the year out strong.

“You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it.” – Maya Angelou
